This is SUCH a cool concept! You have built such an interesting world here, whilst simultaneously making it really fast-paced. I got really nervous for Dennis when he was talking to Bruce (for some reason, I saw him as a kind of a bad guy). Are you going to write a second part to this? I would absolutely love to read about their 'heroic' date!
I don't actually write much romance and putting down this much was a challenge. (I did it for Scoot's Gibberish Writing Competition. I wasn't in it, but I tried to make the entries anyway.) I haven't planned to do a direct follow-up to this post, though I do plan to use this setting more (you might notice it's even got its own section) and possibly use these characters again.
